What is a retrograde to you?
A retrograde occurs when the Earth is passing or passed by a planet, giving the sense that the planet is moving backwards, which prompts a shift in energy impacting your thinking.
It’s an opportunity to closely look at a life theme and like the slow down of the retrograde, you can slow down and focus to concentrate on this specific theme to evolve your understanding of it.
What does the planet have to do with the life theme?
First off, collectively, each planet signifies a specific area of focus.
For example, as it recently went retrograde, Pluto is about divine power and individual control, harnessing your own power in your own unique way, creating regeneration and rebirth.
During a retrograde, this planet is placed in a specific energy {a portal or opening} where it hangs out for you to focus on a theme collectively.
Similarly, when you were born, the planet was in a specific energy which is defined in your Human Design chart.
What is the significance of the planet placement in the retrograde?
Outer “planets”, like Pluto, are farthest from Earth thereby giving us time to go deep and get to the heart for higher understanding which is healing for the soul.
During each retrograde, the planet is in a new placement from previous years so you have an opportunity to work on a different life theme.
